\u00a0Decree n\u00b0 93-313 of 11 March 1993<\/a><\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0determining the conditions of entry into C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire of foreign goods of all origins and sources, as well as the conditions of export <\/em>and re-export of goods destined for foreign countries \u2013 taken in accordance with ECOWAS rules and in application of the Customs Code and Law No. 91.999 of 27 December 1991 relating to competition, determines a list <\/strong><\/em>of products whose import and export are subject to the approval regime<\/strong>.
In C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, the Cotton Council \u2013 Cashew<\/strong> is the body which,\u00a0under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development,\u00a0<\/strong>is in charge of\u00a0regulating and monitoring the activities of the cotton and cashew nut sectors \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>See\u00a0Decree n\u00b02013-681 of 02 October 2013<\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0\u00a0naming the regulatory body for monitoring and developing the activities of the cotton and cashew nut sectors)<\/strong>.<\/p>

With regard to cotton and cashew nuts, Law n\u00b02013-656of 13 September 2013<\/em><\/a>\u00a0laying down the rules relating to the marketing of cotton and cashew nuts and the regulation of the cotton and cashew nut sectors specifies the conditions for issuing <\/strong>this approval, and\u00a0obligations linked to the export <\/strong>of these products.
