On Tuesday June 30, 2026, the Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Côte d’Ivoire organized a conference dedicated to the zero customs tariff policy and opportunities for access to the Chinese market through the China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2026.

This meeting notably recorded the participation of H.E.M. WU Jie Ambassador of China to Côte d’Ivoire, Mr. Baba TOURE, Director General of Foreign Trade, representing the Minister of Trade, Industry and Crafts, Dr Kaladji FADIGA, Director General of the Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency, as well as Mr. LI Chengyao Economic Advisor of the Chinese Embassy. For his part, Dr Kaladji FADIGA recalled that “opportunities exist, but they only produce results when companies are sufficiently prepared to seize them”. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency to supporting Ivorian companies through strengthening their capacities, their preparation for the requirements of international markets and their participation in major commercial events.

This conference marks a new stage in the preparations for Ivorian participation in CIIE 2026 which will be held from November 5 to 10, 2026, where Côte d’Ivoire will highlight the excellence of Made in Côte d’Ivoire and the know-how of its companies.
