Following the drafting of the Self-Assessment Report on the end of implementation of the 2024-2026 National Action Plan (NAP 5), the Technical Committee of the Open Government Partnership (CT-OGP) Côte d’Ivoire organized a workshop on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Abidjan-Plateau, dedicated to the pre-validation of the draft report.
Chaired by Ms. ANGOUA Ehouman Chantal, Technical Advisor to the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Handicrafts and Chair of the OGP Technical Committee, this workshop brought together approximately forty participants, including members of the OGP Technical Committee, commitment bearers, representatives of civil society, and OGP resource persons.
The workshop focused on reviewing the narrative section of the Report, examining the completed templates provided by the various commitment bearers, and assessing the level of implementation of the PAN 5 commitments. Discussions also provided an opportunity to consider the observations made by stakeholders on the draft Report, with the aim of arriving at a consolidated and consensus-based version.
Following the workshop, the draft PAN 5 Self-Assessment Report was pre-validated by all participants. This step paves the way for the continuation of the institutional validation process. The document will be forwarded to the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Handicrafts, the OGP Focal Point for Côte d’Ivoire, for review before being submitted to the OGP Interministerial Committee (CI-OGP) for validation. The report will then be submitted to the Council of Ministers for adoption and subsequently transmitted to the international OGP bodies, in accordance with established procedures.
As a reminder, the Open Government Partnership (OGP) is an international initiative that encourages states to promote more transparent, participatory, and accountable governance. It is based, in particular, on access to information, citizen participation, public accountability, the fight against corruption, and the use of digital technologies, in collaboration with civil society and other non-state actors.
