Abidjan, February 9, 2026 – The Minister of Trade, Industry, and Handicrafts, Ibrahim Kalil Konaté, met with members of his staff for a working session dedicated to presenting his roadmap.
Placing his actions under the banner of efficiency and collective responsibility, the Minister called upon all his collaborators for full mobilization to meet the major challenges facing the department, including market regulation, industrial development, and improving the purchasing power of the population.
On this occasion, Ibrahim Kalil Konaté commended the achievements made under his predecessor’s leadership, while reaffirming his commitment to consolidating these results through concerted reforms, participatory governance, and targeted field actions.
In this context, the Minister announced upcoming internal meetings and visits to distribution channels, in preparation for the periods of Lent and Ramadan. These initiatives aim to guarantee the availability of essential consumer goods and ensure price stability in the markets.
Through this first strategic meeting with his staff, Ibrahim Kalil Konaté intends to inject new momentum based on listening, rigor, and commitment, serving a more efficient and inclusive commercial and industrial sector.
