The Autonomous Port of San Pedro (PASP) is responsible for all port functions, including operations, ship services, maintenance, renewal and expansion of port infrastructure, management of concessions, and the dockworker workforce in San Pedro. However, most operational activities, as well as ship piloting and towing services, are carried out by the private sector. PASP’s ambition is to enhance its performance in service to the sub-region. This ambition is based on the desire to strengthen the geostrategic position of the Port of San Pedro in western Côte d’Ivoire and in neighboring countries (Liberia, Guinea, Mali, and Burkina Faso).
