The Minister of Trade, Industry, and Handicrafts, Kalil Konaté, received the Director General of RTI, Jean Adou Martial, in an audience on Wednesday, July 1st.

This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss several topics of common interest, notably strengthening collaboration around the program “Le Consommateur” (The Consumer), broadcast on RTI. This program, which airs every two weeks and is well-known to the public, aims to inform the population on issues related to the availability, prices, and quality of food products.

Through its coverage of consumer news, “Le Consommateur” contributes to raising awareness, educating, and protecting citizens, thus contributing to efforts to combat the high cost of living.

The minister commended RTI’s essential role in disseminating reliable and credible information, particularly in a context marked by the proliferation of misinformation on social media, especially concerning public well-being.

The Director General of RTI was accompanied by the Commercial and Marketing Director, Ms. Maïmouna Karpé Fofana.
