The implementation of the future Yamoussoukro industrial zone has reached a decisive stage. A few months after the laying of the foundation stone, development work is now underway on the site, marking a major step forward in the deployment of the DAICE Program to support the industrial transformation of Côte d’Ivoire.
As part of a joint mission conducted from May 13 to 16, 2026, by teams from SOGEDI and the DAICE Program, the first development operations were observed on the 70 hectares dedicated to this strategic infrastructure. On-site, equipment is in operation, and the companies Goldium and Presticom, responsible for the roadworks, are fully engaged in carrying out the operations according to the established schedule.
Meanwhile, surveyors are continuing the road layout work and preparatory operations related to the installation of site facilities and technical areas, marking the project’s entry into a concrete and visible phase.
This progress illustrates the ambition of the DAICE Program: to transform commitments into tangible achievements in order to strengthen the industrial attractiveness of the region, stimulate productive investment, and consolidate Côte d’Ivoire’s economic competitiveness. Through this key infrastructure project, Yamoussoukro is gradually establishing itself as a strategic industrial hub serving national development.
